The gang’s getting back together—temporarily.
WBZ is bringing five familiar faces back to your television screens this week.Jack Williams, Liz Walker, Joyce Kulhawik, Bob Lobel, and Bruce Schwoegler will be featured in a special segment airing Thursday as part of the station’s 70th anniversary celebrations. It marks the first time in 20 years that the five members of the news team from the 80s and 90s are all back together at the station on Soldiers Field Road, according to CBS Boston Communications Director Kerri Landry.“They’re a big part of who we are today and a big part of that 70 years,” she told Boston.com of why the group is being featured. Landry said the segment features Williams, Walker, Kulhawik, Lobel, and Schwoegler talking about when they worked together, “reminiscing about the good old days,” and the present.“Viewers can expect a lot of laughs,” she said. The approximately five-minute piece will air at 5 p.m. and again at 11 p.m on Thursday.
