A storied part of Boston’s soul and stomach, Charlie’s Sandwich Shoppe reopened this past January after closing its doors in 2014. And a few well-known faces stopped by for a visit.

The 90-year-old establishment is as renowned for its turkey hash, tuna melts, and seared burgers as it is for the famous people who have sat on its leather stools. Wednesday morning, Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, and former Boston Mayor Ray Flynn stopped by the Shoppe to celebrate the reopening.
