A Quincy resident recently won $4 million on a scratch ticket she brought at Richdale Food Shops, the Massachusetts State Lottery announced Friday.

Peixia Du chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $2.6 million, before taxes. She plans to buy a car and house with the winnings, according to the lottery.

Du bought the “$4,000,000 Bonus Money” ticket at the Rockland convenience store at 268 Union St. The store received a $40,000 bonus for selling the ticket, lottery officials said.

One more $4 million grand prize remains in the “$4,000,000 Bonus Money” instant game.
