A woman is accused of fatally stabbing a man inside a South Boston apartment Friday evening, Boston police said.
Gisselle Pascual, 24, is charged with manslaughter, Boston police said in a press release.
Police were called Friday evening for a person stabbed at 258 Old Colony Ave. Officers found a man suffering from a stab wound, the department said.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he died the next day, police said.
Pascual was initially charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, but police upgraded the charges to manslaughter after the victim died, the department said.
Pascual will be arraigned in South Boston District Court, police said.
