Where ‘No Kings’ protests are happening around Massachusetts this Saturday

From Boston Common to nearby suburbs, here’s where and when rallies are scheduled for March 28’s “No Kings” protests.

Thousands of “No Kings” protests are set to take place this Saturday across the country, with more than 160 located in Massachusetts.

The March 28 mobilization is expected to be larger than any previous “No Kings” protest — and the biggest protest in U.S. history, organizers anticipate — with more than 3,000 protests planned nationwide. Massachusetts has the second-most “No Kings” protest events scheduled, after California, according to a No Kings spokesperson.

Millions participated in the “No Kings” movements last year in coordinated protests across thousands of cities and towns. The demonstrations come amid ongoing backlash over President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown, growing concerns over the state of democracy, and most recently, the U.S. involvement in Iran.

“On March 28, ‘we the people’ are ‘we the powerful.’ We will show our power, build our power, and use our power to fight for a democracy that works for everyone,” Rebecca Winter, executive director and spokesperson of Mass 50501 said in a news release.

Some towns have not yet revealed their exact protest locations, but those who RSVP through the official event link can receive more information.
