A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run Friday morning in Roxbury, Boston police said.
At 11:34 a.m. Friday, police responded to the scene of a car crash involving a hit pedestrian near Southampton Street and Bradston street, the Boston Police Department said in an emailed statement to Boston.com.
The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead, BPD said.
The driver in the crash fled the scene, the vehicle involved was later found, BPD said.
There have been no arrests made, and the investigation is still ongoing, BPD said.
