A man was killed Tuesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Chelmsford, according to local police there.
At about 12:30 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the area of 75 Littleton Road. The man, who was the driver, was suffering from serious injuries after crashing into a tree, police said.
He was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead. Authorities hadn’t publicly identified him as of Wednesday morning.
The crash remains under investigation.
