Jon Keller, the longtime political analyst who was the victim of layoffs last fall at WBZ-TV, is returning to the air.

Keller is set to return to WBZ Monday evening as a “special contributor” during the early evening news broadcast, according to an editor’s note that appeared under Keller’s regular MASSterList column.
He will resume his role providing political analysis and moderating major debates for the station. The “Keller At Large” interview show, which originated in 1991, will come back this Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Gov. Maura Healey will be Keller’s guest, according to the note.
Keller will continue writing his weekly MASSterList column and occasionally contribute articles to Boston magazine.
Keller was laid off alongside four other WBZ employees last October, after the station’s parent company, Paramount, was purchased by Skydance Media.
Keller is a 12-time Emmy winner who joined WBZ in 2005, after 14 years at WLVI-TV.
