2 people, including child, hit by car in Dorchester

An adult and a juvenile suffered minor injuries Tuesday night, police say.

Two people — an adult and a child — were struck by a vehicle in Dorchester Tuesday night, police say.

Officers responded around 7 p.m. to the area of Mora and Washington streets for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle, according to a spokesperson for the Boston Police Department.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital with what police described as minor injuries. Police said the driver remained at the scene.
