A 65-year-old Massachusetts woman who was killed Feb. 7 in Fort Pierce, Florida, when a Jeep crashed through her residential pool area while she was sunbathing, has been identified.
An obituary published by Yates Funeral Home & Cremation Services identified the woman as Anastasia “Stacey” Fiona Ullman, who was in Fort Pierre caring for her mother at the time of her death.
According to the Fort Pierre Police Department, on Feb. 7, the vehicle veered off the roadway, crashed through hedges and fencing, and entered a residential pool area, where it struck Ullman. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Born in 1960 in Rockville Centre, New York, Ullman made her home in Hanover for 30 years, where she raised her family. After graduating from Katharine Gibbs School, she worked for Home Depot for 25 years and also served as a nanny to several families, according to her obituary.
Ullman is survived by her two children and her partner of 24 years, the obituary said.
She was an active member of the South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene and the Hanover Council on Aging, according to the obituary.
A celebration of Ullman’s life will be held Saturday at the South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene, the obituary said.
