State Police say the driver swerved to avoid a disabled vehicle.

A crash left a pickup truck dangling off the side of the Zakim Bridge Thursday morning.

Massachusetts State Police Sgt. Gregory Jones said troopers responded shortly before 5:30 a.m. to reports of a pickup stuck on snow and fencing on the bridge.

The driver had reportedly swerved to avoid a disabled vehicle, Jones said.

A heavy-duty tow rotator truck was called to secure the pickup, and no injuries were reported, he said.

Aerial video from Boston 25 News showed the truck sitting on a snowbank and fencing in the precarious position, with the front passenger-side tire hanging over the edge, on the northbound side of the highway.

A Massachusetts Department of Transportation spokesperson said the right lane of I-93 northbound at Exit 19 was closed just before 7 a.m. and reopened at 8:10 a.m.
