A pop-up tent collapsed on Sunday due to the weight of snow, sending two residents to the hospital, the Medford Police Department said.
Medford police responded to a tent collapse at a nursing home on Sunday at 120 Murray Street, police said.
The Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center had a pop-up tent in the back patio that collapsed due to the buildup of snow, police said.
As police arrived, they had to cut the tent to free the residents. Two individuals were sent to a local hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries, police said.
