Four Framingham school buses went up in flames early Tuesday morning, according to fire officials in that city.
The Framingham Fire Department said in a statement that firefighters responded to a call of a bus on fire in the Framingham bus yard early Tuesday.
Upon arrival, firefighters found one bus fully engulfed while flames extended to three other vehicles, the department said.
“Firefighters acted quickly to bring the fire under control and prevent further extension to surrounding vehicles and property,” Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher said.
The buses are used by the city’s public school district, according to officials.
The cause of the blaze is being investigated, however Chief Dutcher said the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
