A 18-year old Haverhill man was arrested Monday for the murder of a Lawrence man who was shot and killed in September, the Essex County District Attorney said.
Hector Mota, 18, was arrested and charged for the murder of Hugo Delrosario, 27, and was arraigned in court Monday in Lawrence District Court.
Delrosario was found fatally shot in Lawrence in September, the DA said.
Mota is also charged with one count of carrying a loaded firearm without a license and one count of carrying a firearm without a license, court documents show.
Mota was ordered held without bail and is expected to return to court for a probable cause hearing on Feb. 5, 2026.
An attorney for Mota did not respond to a request for comment Monday night.
