A juvenile died at a Roxbury community center Wednesday night after suffering a cardiac arrest, police said.
On Wednesday at 6:24 p.m., an officer responded to a call of an unconscious person at Roxbury Tenants of Harvard on Vining Street, according to a report from Boston police. When the officer arrived, the juvenile was already being treated by paramedics and Boston firefighters for a cardiac arrest, the report said.
The victim was transported to Boston Children’s Hospital where they later were pronounced dead, the police report read.
Because the victim was a juvenile, an investigation was opened. However, there is no suspected alcohol or drug consumption, shows the police report.
