A Brockton man was found fatally shot in a parked vehicle in Mattapan early Monday morning, police said.
Alex DeAndrade, 37, was found with multiple gunshot wounds around 12:12 a.m. Monday near 24 Stow St. in Mattapan, a short walk from the Morton Street MBTA Commuter Rail station, Boston police said.
DeAndrade was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, Boston police said.
The department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the case, Boston police said. Anyone with information is asked to call the unit at 617-343-4479. To anonymously contact the police, call 1 (800) 494-TIPS or text the word “tip” to CRIME, or 27463.
