The holiday spirit is alive at the Mass General Brigham neonatal intensive care units this week.
Staff at the NICUs at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Newton Wellesley Hospital organized festive photoshoots for the babies, featuring tiny stockings and twinkling lights.
“In the NICU we love to celebrate every baby’s milestone no matter how small,” shared Erika Nolin, a NICU nurse and one of the organizers, in a statement. “A [baby’s] first holiday is something every parent cherishes. Being able to bring some extra joy and normalcy to the families during this time is such an honor.”
