A plane crashed into a parking lot in Nashua Wednesday afternoon, Nashua police said.
The plane, only carrying a pilot, crashed into the parking lot of 45 Cannongate Road around 2:40 p.m., Nashua police Sergeant John Cinelli said in an interview.
The pilot was injured, but was able to speak with emergency crews at the scene, Cinelli said. He was transported to a nearby hospital.
No other injuries were reported, and the plane did not hit anything, Cinelli said.
The plane was a Velocity V-Twin that crashed shortly after leaving Nashua Airport around 2:10 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration wrote in a statement to Boston.com.
The FAA is investigating the incident.
