The sentencing hearing for Brian Walshe has been postponed by one day to Thursday at 9 a.m., Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey said Tuesday afternoon.
Walshe’s sentencing hearing was originally scheduled for Wednesday at 9 a.m., according to a press release.
Prosecutors did not provide a reason for the delay.
Walshe was found guilty of first-degree murder on Monday for killing and dismembering his wife, Ana, on New Year’s Day 2023.
