A Corvette Stingray was removed from T tracks in Brookline late Wednesday afternoon.

Around 4:55 p.m., MBTA Transit Police responded the area of Beacon and Marion streets.

The 20-year-old driver reportedly told police that he was unfamiliar with the area and took a wrong turn onto the train tracks.

The driver did not have a license, and the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured, police say.

The Corvette was removed from the tracks by the MBTA, and the driver will be charged, according to police.
