Pedestrian sent to hospital after Comm. Ave. collision

Boston EMS transported the pedestrian to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

A pedestrian was sent to the hospital Sunday evening after being struck by a vehicle on a busy Allston roadway, according to Boston police. 

Officers responded to the reported collision near 1322 Commonwealth Ave. around 7:11 p.m., a Boston Police Department spokesperson confirmed.

Boston EMS transported the pedestrian to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police. The person’s identity and condition weren’t immediately clear. 

Police said the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision stayed at the scene. 

The incident remains under investigation.
