A Worcester woman who went missing on Friday was found dead inside her vehicle Monday afternoon.
Worcester police reported that they located Joanna Brown deceased inside her 2025 gray Mitsubishi Outlander in the area of 27 Mount Vernon St. around 4 p.m. on Monday. Her cause of death has yet to be announced.
Joanna Brown, 30, was last seen leaving work at the Bean Counter Bakery Cafe on Friday and was reported missing by her family on Sunday, police say.
The investigation into Brown’s death remains ongoing by the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office and Worcester Police.
