Mass. man missing after leaving hospital early Friday morning
Police said they are concerned for Leonard Mercury's wellbeing and "believe he may be in need of medical attention."
A Massachusetts man is missing after he left a hospital early Friday morning.
Leonard Mercury, 57, was last seen around 2 a.m. leaving Heywood Hospital in Gardner, according to police there.
He was headed in the direction of a nearby bike path wearing hospital clothing and no shoes, police say.
Police said they are concerned for Mercury’s wellbeing and “believe he may be in need of medical attention.”
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should not make contact with him and should call 911 or Gardner police at 978-632-5600.
