Watertown police are investigating after someone stole an estimated $9,000 in donations from a local Catholic church.
The alleged larceny occurred Oct. 27 sometime after 5:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church on Main Street, police said on Facebook. The theft was reported the next morning at about 8:30 a.m.
As of Thursday night, police have not yet released any additional details about the theft or potential suspects. Anyone with information or video related to the incident is urged to contact Detective Joe Kelland at 617-600-1310, the department said.
