Report of shots fired prompts shelter-in-place at college near Boston

No injuries were reported.

Curry College in Milton was put under a shelter-in-place after shots were fired on Saturday.

Milton police received a report of shots fired on the college campus around 11:54 p.m.

Upon arrival at the scene, police found ballistic damage of two vehicles in the parking lot of 886 Residence Hall.

The responding officers also recovered additional ballistic evidence in the parking lot, police say.

No injuries were reported, and there is no threat to Curry College at this time, according to police.

The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing by Milton police and Massachusetts State Police.
