Body found in Roxbury, police say

The person was pronounced dead at 9:10 a.m., Boston police said. 

A person’s body was found in Roxbury Thursday morning, police said. 

An unresponsive person was found around 9 a.m. at 157 Dewitt Drive, according to Boston police, near Nubian Square.

The person was pronounced dead at 9:10 a.m., and homicide investigators were called to the scene, police said.

The body was found behind a dumpster, NBC10 Boston reported. 

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner took custody of the body, according to police. 

Police have not confirmed a cause of death or whether there was foul play.
