Eight students were hospitalized after a school bus crashed Wednesday afternoon on Route 128 South in Weston, fire officials said.
The school bus was involved in an accident with a sedan near Route 30, according to Weston Fire Chief Justin Woodside. Eight students on the bus suffered minor injuries and were taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
No further updates have been given on the students’ condition. Massachusetts State Police, who also responded to the scene, said that the students were taken to the hospital for “evaluation,” according to NBC10 Boston.
