A scratch ticket recently purchased in Lowell granted the winner a $4 million prize.
The winning ticket was a “100X” instant ticket game purchased at Pete’s Gulf at 185 Woburn St., according to the Massachusetts Lottery Commission. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The Candy 2025 Trust of Lowell, represented by Nikki Caplis, claimed the grand prize in a one-time payment of $2.6 million before taxes on Tuesday, the lottery commission said.
There is one remaining grand prize in the “100X” instant ticket game.
