A Dorchester woman died from her injuries two days after she was struck by a car in Randolph, the local district attorney announced.
Ruth Samuels, 57, was hit by a vehicle the morning of Oct. 14, the office of Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey said in a press release. She died on Oct. 16 at a hospital in Boston, he said.
The crash happened in the area of Warren Street and Silver Street in Randolph at around 6:24 a.m., the DA said.
The driver of the car that hit her, a 48-year-old woman, stayed at the scene, according to Morrissey’s office.
No charges were immediately filed and the crash remained under investigation as of Thursday, the DA said.
