A hunter died Tuesday evening after falling from a tree in Connecticut, police said.
Enfield EMS, police, and fire responded to 54 Weymouth Road around 7 p.m. and located the man about 300 feet into the woods, the Enfield Police Department said in a release.
As Enfield first responders provided aid, the man became unresponsive and CPR was administered, the release said.
The Enfield Fire Department transported the man out of the woods using a UTV, or utility task vehicle, according to police.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at Baystate Medical Center, officials said.
The incident is under investigation by Enfield police. Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Shafique at (860) 763-8910.
