A body found behind a CVS in Wareham has been identified as a Middleborough woman, officials said.
Amy Nadolny, 41, was found in a wooded area along train tracks behind the CVS at 419 Main St., a spokesperson for the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office said. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine her cause of death, the DA’s office said.
Nadolny’s body was initially found Friday around 10 a.m., the DA said. Massachusetts State Police, Middleborough police, and Wareham police are investigating the incident as “an unattended death.”
Nadolny, a lifelong Middleborough resident, was last seen and heard from Sept. 7 in Wareham, according to a missing persons poster shared on social media.
“Her family is worried and seeking any information or leads,” the poster said, which included contact information for her sister.
The investigation is ongoing, the DA’s spokesperson said.
