Man, 27, dies in Lawrence shooting, DA says
No arrests in the fatal shooting had been announced as of Sunday night.
A 27-year-old man was killed in a shooting in Lawrence early Saturday morning, prosecutors announced.
Police responded to 154 Essex St. in Lawrence just after 2 a.m. Saturday, the office of Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker said in a press release.
They found a man, 27, who was declared dead at the scene, the DA said.
The victim was not publicly identified, pending notification of his family, according to prosecutors. No arrests in the killing had been announced as of Sunday night.
