Braintree man dies weeks after being struck by e-bike in Copley Square

The man, who suffered life-threatening injuries when he was hit by an e-bike in August, has died, according to police.

A pedestrian who was seriously injured after being struck by an electronic bike in Copley Square last month has died, Boston police said.

Police identified the victim as Minh Dang, 64, of Braintree, according to WCVB. Dang was struck by the bike Aug. 6 in Copley Square near Huntington Avenue and Dartmouth Street.

Dang was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The bike’s operator, who remained on the scene, has not been publicly identified; police said that no charges have been filed.
