18-year-old drives the wrong way on I-93 and crashes in the middle of the day, police say

The crash happened at about noon Thursday on the interstate in Concord, New Hampshire.

New Hampshire State Police

An 18-year-old drove the wrong way on I-93 in Concord, New Hampshire, midday Thursday and then collided with a pickup in the high-speed lane, State Police said.

Liana Fox, of Bow, allegedly entered the southbound lanes of the interstate at Exit 13 in Concord while traveling north. Her Hyundai sedan then crossed into the high-speed lane, where it struck the Chevrolet pickup, which was being driven by a 57-year-old Barrington man, according to police.

“Due to the severity of the crash, two lanes of I-93 southbound were closed for about 15 minutes while emergency personnel freed Fox from the vehicle,” police said.
