Student struck by SUV in South Shore hit-and-run, police say

The student sustained “very minor injuries,” police said. 

A student on an electric scooter was hit by a SUV Wednesday morning, the Duxbury Police Department said in a Facebook post

The white SUV collided with a student riding an electric scooter around 8 a.m. on Saint George Street, according to police.

The student sustained “very minor injuries,” police said. 

The vehicle, which did not stop, turned into the Lt. Steele building parking lot, according to police.
