Motorcyclist dead after Ipswich collision
The crash remains under investigation.
A 72-year-old motorcyclist from Gloucester died in a collision with a Dodge pickup truck this Sunday, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office.
Ipswich police responded to the crash shortly after 4 p.m. Police pronounced the man dead at the scene, according to the DA’s office.
The DA’s office said an initial investigation shows that the motorcycle and pickup collided on Route 1A, also known as High Street, near the Dow Brook Conservation Area. The pickup operator stayed at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
