Man killed, woman critically injured after crash in Raynham

The driver, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene. The only passenger was a 33-year-old woman who had life-threatening injuries, according to police.

A Taunton man was killed and another critically injured in a car crash Sunday night in Raynham, police said.

The man’s erratic driving near South Street West around 8:12 p.m. was first reported through a 911 call, police said. Raynham police and fire then received reports that the motor vehicle had crashed into a cluster of tree near 146 and 132 South Street West.

Dylan Manoli, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials announced Monday night. The only passenger was a 33-year-old woman, who was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Officers responded to a report of an aggressive driver at a nearby Dollar Tree before the crash, but the investigation into whether the incident was related to the crash is ongoing, a spokesperson said.
