A man is charged with murder after a woman was killed in a double shooting Wednesday morning in Hyde Park, police said.
Jonathan Hernandez, 41, was arrested at the scene and later charged with murder, according to the Boston Police Department.
Officers responded to Faraday Street around 10:03 a.m. and found two adult victims with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
The man and woman, whose names were not released, were rushed to local hospitals with life-threatening injuries. The woman was later pronounced dead, according to police.
Hernandez, of Hyde Park, will be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court, police said.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the incident and requests anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
