Scooter rider severely injured in Roxbury crash with SUV, police say
The pedestrian was brought to a local hospital by Boston EMS with life-threatening injuries, police said.
A person on a scooter is facing life-threatening injuries after being hit by an SUV Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Boston police officers responded to Humboldt and Seaver Streets in Roxbury around 1:13 p.m. for a report of someone struck by a motor vehicle, a police spokesperson said.
The person was transported to a local hospital by Boston EMS with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Neither the victim nor the vehicle’s operator were identified.
The incident is under investigation by the Boston Police Homicide Unit, the department said.
