An 18-year-old is facing dozens of charges after he allegedly vandalized more than 60 cars in Quincy, police said.
On Saturday, July 26, Quincy police responded to North Quincy for multiple reports of vandalized cars.
Images from the scene showed cars with sprawling scratches across their exteriors.
“Through the combined efforts of responding patrol officers and the investigative work of QPD detectives the suspect was identified and arrested without incident,” the department said Thursday.
Police arrested an 18-year-old man on Wednesday in connection to the vandalism, the department said. He is charged with 63 counts of defacing or damaging property.
The man pleaded not guilty and was held on bail, court records show. A judge ordered an examination to evaluate whether he is competent to stand trial.
