Worcester Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying a woman and man allegedly involved in a road rage incident July 15 on Park Avenue.

The man and woman were driving a three-wheeled vehicle down Park Avenue around 1 p.m. when a fight broke out between the woman and another woman who was driving a vehicle, Worcester police said in a statement.

The woman, sitting in the passenger’s seat of the three-wheeler, allegedly hit the other woman with a helmet, police said. The assault caused the woman to be hospitalized with a hurt neck.

The two women were driving in the same direction when an argument broke out between them. At each red light, their argument continued, according to Worcester Police Spokesperson Joe Cersosimo.

Police said what caused the argument is under investigation.

The woman in the vehicle drove to a Park Avenue business to withdraw from the conflict, Cersosimo said, but the trike followed.

Both women left their vehicles, and the woman from the three-wheeler struck the other with her helmet before driving away, according to Cersosimo.

Worcester police announced in a Facebook post they are seeking to identify the man and woman in the three-wheeled vehicle.

The woman has distinctive tattoos on her arms and back, police said.
