A 54-year-old Vermont woman was flown in a medical helicopter to a hospital with a serious leg injury after a boat she was in crashed into a floating swim platform on Robinson Pond in Hudson, New Hampshire.

The woman — Kelley Brooks, of Glover — was thrown from the Bass Tracker boat during the Monday afternoon crash, State Police said. A 69-year-old Hudson man was operating the boat, which had four passengers.

Police said they’re still investigating the incident, including why the collision occurred.
