A four-year-old boy died early Monday morning after a drowning was reported on Sunday in Brockton, according to Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz.
Brockton Police and emergency medical services arrived at a Sunset Avenue residence around 3 p.m. Sunday after receiving a report of a child drowning.
The boy, identified as Hendrix Cooley-Walker, was transported to a Boston area hospital Sunday afternoon, and died at about 1:30 a.m. Monday, Cruz’s office said.
According to Cruz, State Police are investigating the events leading up to Cooley-Walker’s drowning.
