Mass. man, 24, facing dozens of child rape, pornography charges

Luis Lema-Pomavilla was initially arrested in September and has been held without bail since then.

A Massachusetts man is facing dozens of child rape and pornography charges, including accusations he sexually assaulted three teenage girls.

Luis Lema-Pomavilla, 24, of Medway was arrested in September last year on charges that he repeated raped one of the alleged victims, according to court records.

Prosecutors allege the 24-year-old met the girl at a party, drugged her, then forced her to continue meeting him between August 2023 and February 2024, threatening to distribute naked images of her if she refused. Lema-Pomavilla is accused of repeatedly drugging and raping the girl in the ensuing encounters, with the teen giving birth to his child in October 2024.
