Scenes from the Esplanade: Boston celebrates the Fourth

Fireworks capped off the festivities, which featured performances by Leslie Odom Jr., LeAnn Rimes, and Bell Biv DeVoe alongside the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra under conductor Keith Lockhart.

Patriotic fervor was on full view Friday, as crowds headed to the Esplanade and its environs for the 2025 Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular.

Beginning at noon, attendees set up their umbrellas, chairs and other accompaniments for the evening’s festivities.
