Police investigate shooting in Brighton, leaving one injured

Boston police responded to the area of 282 North Beacon St. in Brighton on Tuesday night and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Boston police are investigating a shooting that happened in Brighton on Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the area of 282 North Beacon St. around 9:20 p.m. for a report of shots fire, according to a statement from the Boston Police Department. 

Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene. He was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is still ongoing.
