A 4-year-old boy drowned in Worcester on Tuesday.
Worcester police officers responded to the area of Bridle Path just after 5 p.m. for a report of an unresponsive child, according to officials.
When they arrived, officers found the boy in a nearby home. They were told that he was found unresponsive in Lake Quinsigamond, a WPD spokesperson said. Bridle Path runs along the edge of the lake.
The boy was brought to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Officials did not release the name of the boy or any other information about what may have led to his death.
