The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will close the Sumner Tunnel overnight Monday to allow crews to install overhead signage.
Drivers should expect delays and follow detour routes during the closure, which is scheduled from 11 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday, WCVB reported. The Ted Williams Tunnel and Callahan Tunnel will be open.
“Appropriate signage, law enforcement details and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area,” MassDOT said.
