Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault that took place Wednesday morning in Paul Revere Park in Boston.
State Police troopers, Boston police, and Boston EMS workers responded to the park at about 9:50 a.m. They spoke with a victim at the scene who provided a description of the suspect, according to a State Police spokesperson. No further specifics were released.
The incident is under investigation. It apparently occurred on state property, and therefore State Police have the primary jurisdiction over the investigation, the spokesperson said. Paul Revere Park is located in Charlestown and is managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
