Girl, man both missing from Dorchester, police say

The two Dorchester residents, a 31-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl, were reported missing earlier this year in separate cases.

Boston police are asking for the public’s help locating two missing Dorchester residents, a 31-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl, who were both reported missing earlier this year in separate cases. 

Alex Morreale, 31, was last heard from on Feb. 24 and his last known address was in the area of Virginia Street in Dorchester, police said

“He is described as a white male, about 5’09”, approximately 180 lbs., with short brown hair and a tattoo on his left forearm,” police said. 

According to investigators, Morreale is believed to be in Boston, in the area of Mass. and Cass, as well as Dudley Street and Belden Street. 

Police are also asking for the public’s help finding 16-year-old Zhawndya Steed Calhoun, who was last seen around 2 a.m. on April 17 near Woodward Park Street.

“She is described as a black female, about 5’03”, approximately 130 lbs., with medium length hair in braids,” police said. “She also has a tattoo on her right arm that says ‘blessed,’ and three nose piercings.”

Calhoun went missing in February and traveled to Philadelphia but now may be in the area of Clifton Street, police said. 

Police are asking anyone with information about Calhoun or Morreale to call 911 or contact detectives at  617-343-4275. Information can also be submitted anonymously through the CrimeStoppers tip line.
